EHS was contracted about a noises in a chimney stack. The client thought it was Bats, Birds or Squirrels. We dispatched our wildlife management team for a thorough diagnosis. A mother raccoon and her newborn pups had taken up residence. EHS doesn't believe in killing native wildlife. The option was simple, wait until early July when the young can leave with her, chase her out and leave the pups fir her at the edge of the property in the direction she fled or add a product that has an odor that she does not like and she will take her babies to a more suitable spot. The client chose option 3, it is the most affordable, puts less stress on the animal and solves the situation for the moment. Now we need to decide the most economical and efficient means to keep this from reoccurring next year. EHS likes our native wildlife and it shows. Now this new client likes us!
