Have you ever noticed small red boils all over your back and hands when you wake up? This could be because of the tiny little bug called bedbugs. Bedbugs are awful if spread all over your house. One bug has the capacity to produce thousands of other bugs which can make your life miserable. Bedbugs will take over your house, by moving from one place to another and multiplying very quickly. They can make their colonies on almost any organic substance, like beds, mattresses, rugs and furniture.
The problem with bed bugs is that they cannot be removed just by replacing the infected piece of furniture or rug. Once you get them, they go everywhere and their population will just keep increasing. There are a few things you can try to get rid of bed bugs, but in most cases, only professional extermination will work.
Bug Killer – There are many bug sprays available on the market. These are highly toxic for bugs and can kill them instantly. However, many of these sprays do not kill the eggs, and when you spray yourself you can miss areas of your home. The pesticides can be harmful to humans as well so make sure you use required protection while using the sprays.
Sun – The sun helps in treating bed bugs as well. One tip to get rid of bed bugs is to expose the infected pieces in your house to the sun for a few hours for at least a week. The sun rays immobilize the bed bugs and kill them. However, this too does not get rid of the eggs laid by bedbugs.
Pest Control – More often than not, a professional bed bug exterminator is the only solution. This is the best way of getting rid of bed bugs permanently.
