If you follow our blog then you know we have posted some amazingly funny stories & situations involving pests + people. We always say that the bar gets raised each time so here is the latest entry into the wacky world of EHS pest control!!!

It is the Memorial Day holiday weekend….Sunday night at 8:15pm to be exact. Our offices are closed for the holiday but I am on call for customer emergencies. I am at a cookout with friends when I get an email I had to read twice to make sure what I was reading was correct. It was from a hotel that we do not service stating a wild turkey flew into the wall in their pool area and injured itself so it can not fly nor get away. The pool area is in an enclosed courtyard and the only access to the area is through the hotel lobby or the sky. The pool was packed with guests as it was a holiday weekend. The hotel manager was frantic on the phone because all the hotel guests ran away from the turkey as it was acting crazy and chasing people. They closed the pool area and called the local police who sent an animal control officer out to remove the turkey.

I keep getting calls like this & I may need the wild turkey…..the alcohol…..not the bird!
