"Thanksgiving and Christmas remind us all about the power of giving, but people continue to battle hunger and we wanted to do our part to help," said John Stellberger, president, EHS Pest Services. Our employees started this drive to support the Pine Street Inn at the most critical time possible, which serves 2,000 meals each day.
EHS employees donated cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea bags, hot chocolate, canned soup, canned vegetables, canned fruit, spaghetti, tomato sauce, rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil and salad dressing. “These are the most common items that the Pine Street Inn serves each day so we focused on these items”. "Hunger impacts families and seniors throughout every neighborhood in New England, often regardless of employment status," said Stellberger.
The EHS Team looks forward to making this donation effort a regular event throughout the year, not just at the holidays.
